MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows’ pursuit for their first league title since 2018 continues when they visit fellow giants Manzini Wanderers in a blockbuster clash this afternoon.

Only four points shy of the top spot with six games to spare; fourth-placed Swallows eye maximum points to keep the leading pack in sight. Inspired by  the free-scoring veteran winger Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko, they have the required ammunition for the tricky outing against the rejuvenated hosts.  The last two outings ended in favour of Swallows who won by a solitary goal in each fixture. While the league title is no longer within touching distance for Wanderers, they need to grind a result to stay clear of danger. Despite being 14 points above the drop, mathematically, the maroon and white outfit are still not safe from relegation.

Boasting the exciting duo of Majehesibili Ndlovu and Fabrice Mopina, they will further be buoyed by their resurgence of late after stretching their unbeaten run to five matches after the 2-all draw with Moneni Pirates.  The rivalry between the sides always makes it one of the exciting fixtures of the season.
