'BULL’, ’DOWNS IN Y’ELLO SUNDAY AT MAVUSO

MBABANE – Mavuso Sports Centre is the place to be as the league’s main sponsor MTN Eswatini presents the Y’ello Sunday.

The Sunday fixtures are packed with action as log leaders Mbabane Highlanders will be all out in search for three points when they lock horns with Denver Sundowns after a shocking 1-1 draw with Tinyosi last week. Kick-off time is 3pm. this will be the second match of the day following another thriller encounter between Milling Hot spurs and the Buccaneers of Moneni at 12:45pm. As per the Y’ello Sunday culture, players and fans stand a chance to win themselves lucrative prizes in MTN products, services and connection packages, courtesy of the sponsor.

This was announced by the MTN Brand Communications and Sponsorship Manager Lando Dlamini during the Player of the Month Award presentation held yesterday at the Sigwaca House in Mbabane. Dlamini encouraged fans to come in numbers to support their favourite teams and further thanked them for their contribution to the development of the sport through their support. She opened the floor to Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Chief Executive Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati to share more details on the Y’ello Sunday. Vilakati said, “This weekend we will have the Y’ello Sunday at Mavuso.

“Again, it’s one of the good things done by our sponsor and we appreciate the media for publicising the good deeds of our sponsor. We are inviting you tomorrow (today) at MTN Eswatini’s headquarters in Ezulwini where we will be building a strong bond and being capacitated with the various products and services offered by MTN,” Vilakati said. Meanwhile, football games will be littered across the country on Sunday as KaLanga Technical Centre hosts Young Buffaloes and Tinyosi at 2:30pm. A double header featuring Manzini Sea Birds and Vovovo, Rangers and Royal Leopard is penned for the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium starting at 12:45pm. Tambuti and Mbabane Swallows have a date at Mayaluka Stadium while Manzini Wanderers enters Malanti’s den at Killarney Sports Ground. Royal Leopard still have one pending game against Moneni Pirates.
