MANZINI - Things are not good at Manzini Wanderers and Coach Velekhaya Mthethwa is equally worried.

Mthethwa made this known during a post match interview at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday after witnessing his side go down 0-1 to Denver Sundowns.

“We put up a better performance and got chances and missed them. The short break which was caused by floodlights failure somehow made our boys to lose concentration and they got a half chance and punished us,” said Mthethwa. He said they were going to learn from the performance. “We can do better now that we are playing well, we just need to start scoring goals and stop conceding,” he said. Meanwhile Sundowns Coach Ikarbot Masocha said the win was a bonus otherwise they were aiming for a point.

“We wanted to contain them fortunately we got the three points,” said Masocha. He said the stoppage really disturbed their momentum.  “We managed to close them down and defended well and protect our 1-0 lead,” he said. After the win, Sundowns jumped to the ninth spot with 23 points while Wanderers are on the tenth spot with 21 points.
