WANDERERS, ‘BULL’ IN MAVUSO DOUBLE HEADER

MBABANE – The FIFA week is over and it’s back-to-back action in the MTN Premier League.

While week 18 of the league goes underway today, log leaders Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers will play Tinyosi and Denver Sundowns respectively in a  double header billed for Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday. The premier league had been out of action for two week to give way to the international FIFA week, where the national team, Sihlangu were in action in the 2023 AFCON Preliminary Qualifiers. TOTALEnergies CAF Confederation Cup envoys Royal leopard will play today and take a break as they will be playing their last game in group B of the CAF tournament against JS Soura on Sunday at Mbombela Stadium, South Africa.

Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati released the fixtures for week 19 yesterday. Only the double headers at Mavuso Sports Centre will be played on Saturday while there are five games lined up for Sunday in different venues. Green Mamba and Mbabane Swallows will co-host Tambuti and Rangers in a double header at King Sobhuza II memorial Stadium on Sunday.
