JUNIOR, PHILANI ARE MTN LEAGUE FEBRUARY’S BEST

MBABANE – You reap what you sow.

Royal Leopard midfielder Sifiso ‘Junior’ Magagula and Nsingizini Hotspurs defender Philani Nhleko are the Players of the Month for February in the Premier League and National First Division leagues respectively. Announcing the news was Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati at Sigwaca House yesterday. Magagula received E6 000 while Nhleko took home E2 000 respectively for this award. While Magagula comes for the second time for this very award, having won it in December, this is Nhleko’s first time being chosen as the best player of the month.

However, Hotspurs have three players that have each scooped this award, namely Sifiso Makhubu who won it in December, Themba Dladla won it in January and now Nhleko. “Today we are here to present the player of the month for February. We are happy to announce that Philani Nhleko and Junior Magagula have won this award. We want to thank the awards  committee for always visiting different sport grounds to look out for the best players,” said Vilakati. Meanwhile MTN Brand Communications and Sponsorship Manager Lando Dlamini also congratulated the players for their respective awards. “It was through your tireless effort that saw you winning this award. We do hope that you will be among the best players at the end of the season,” said Dlamini. The MTN Brand Communications and Sponsorship Manager encouraged the public to buy their products.
