MBABANE – Eswatini could be one of the eight countries to benefit from Qatar after the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this year.

This was disclosed by Mudathir Abudigin one of Qatar Embassy Stuff members during the annual commemoration of Qatar’s National Sports day, which was held at Royal Villas Resort in Ezulwini yesterday. “Qatar is ready to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup as FIFA has sent some of its members to inspect the top of the range eight stadiums that we have constructed for the event,” Abudigin said. He also said this would be one of the best FIFA events to have been hosted in the history of the world cup. “We have designed top of the range stadiums that would be dismantled and be donated in some developing countries in Africa,” he said.

Abudigin said the stadiums were designed by top engineers in such a way that they could be dismantled and be re-constructed in another place. He also said these stadiums were designed in such a way that they would be installed with top class air conditioners to allow spectators to be able to change the temperatures that to what  they felt they want. He further said this would be the first time the FIFA World Cup would be played in December. Meanwhile, he encouraged emaSwati to engage in all sporting activities to live a good lifestyle.
