MBABANE – After three appearances, he has finally scored his first goal.

And he is not done yet, he is hungry for more. That is the story of Eswatini international, Bonginkhosi ‘Manyovu’ Dlamini, who plays for Angola’s Sagrada Esperanca. The former Royal Leopard winger scored his first goal after three appearances for the second placed side in Angola top league. This was during their league game against Sporting de Cabinda on Tuesday.
‘Manyovu’, as he is affectionately known in the soccer circles, said he was looking forward to scoring his first CAF Champions League goal.

Assists

“I could not believe when I scored the fourth goal for my team. I have been under pressure to score in the past two games and finally I scored on my third game. It was a great game for me as I also had two assists,” said an excited Dlamini over a voice call. Asked on what was his target playing for a top side like Sagrada, he said; “My wish is to score in the CAF Champions League. That way I will not only help my team, but it will open more opportunities for me. The world would also see that Eswatini has talent,” he added. The Angolan side will on February 8 jet to Morocco to honour their first group stage match of the CAF Champions League against Morocco‘s  Wydad AC. ‘Manyovu’ is part of the travelling squad  to Morocco. The game is billed for February 11.
