3RD GOLD FOR SANELISO IN MAPUTO

MBABANE – He is unstoppable.

That is taekwondo artist Saneliso Masuku, who has won a gold medal for the third time in Mozambique. He took his third gold medal during the Open Inter-Australia Taekwondo Championships on Saturday and Sunday in Maputo, Mozambique. The tournament featured artists’ from countries including hosts Mozambique, South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Malawi and Zambia among others. Masuku is a second Dan black belt holder and he played in the under-68kg category.

Masuku’s first gold came in July where he was also named the best player and he achieved the same last month, finishing the hat-trick this weekend.  Masuku is currently based in Mozambique. “The competition was tough as I struggled to get to the podium. My experience played a huge role in my victory over my technical ability. This was my third gold medal,” he said.
