JIMOH MOSES JOINS CALLIES

MBABANE – Former Mbabane Highlanders and Manzini Wanderers player Jimoh Moses has found a new home at Tambankulu Callies Football Club.

This was confirmed by the club’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Mnotfo Nkosi, who said the team was in the process of beefing up their squad ahead of the 2021/2021 MTN Premier League season set to start this weekend. Nkosi said the contractual terms were still not finalised as the player was still being accessed by the technical bench headed by Zimbabwe-born gaffer Ikarbort Macocha. “Yes, Jimoh Moses has joined Tambankulu Callies. We are in the process of finalising the deal after his assessment. We will call a press conference when everything is finalised,” Nkosi said.

The Nigerian defender is an addition to the new signees comprising of former Amazulu player Sikhumbuzo ‘Handsome’ Mabuza who joined the team in the past two weeks. “We will release the full list of all the signees during a press conference anytime this week. Right now there is nothing much I can say about contracts,” Nkosi said.

Callies Chairman Sthembiso ‘Ngudze Mamba also confirmed Moses as their new player but declined to comment further. “We are still accessing them. Wait for tomorrow and you will get the full list of signees,” Mamba said. According to the MTN Premier League master fixtures, Tambankulu Callies will face Tambuti in the opening game then take on Moneni Pirates in the following week. Their third and fourth fixtures will put them against Manzini Sea Birds and Green Mamba respectively.
