MBABANE – Three Manzini Wanderers international stars are likely to be shown the exit door at the club.

The trio of Jimoh Moses, Siphamandla Dhlamini and Fabrice Mopina are likely to be released by the team after the recently-ended season. Defender Thami Zulu is set to be retained by the maroon and white outfit after a good performance throughout the season.

A source close to the matter stated that the technical bench led by Nyanga ‘Crooks’ Hlophe was not happy with the performances of the trio and their contracts are likely not to be renewed for the coming season. “It was the South African, Thami Zulu, who was consistent and played more games than the trio. Jimoh Moses spent majority of the season out injured while Siphamandla and Fabrice also served sometime on the sidelines,” said the source. The source said the issue is still to be discussed by the Management Committee (MC). The club MC Chairman, Mlungisi Ndzinisa, said there were no players released so far at the team and all parties were yet to meet.

“It is off season time and as a team we are meeting to discuss such issues and we will make a press statement once everything has been finalised,” he said. Wanderers finished the season on the sixth position and will receive E75 000. It has not been a good season for Wanderers as they had to play some games without the players undergoing training due to unpaid salaries. However, the salary issue was resolved towards the end of the season and everything went back to normal.
