MBABANE – Moneni Pirates will be without the services of star player Lizwe Zwane in their MTN Premier League game against Mbabane Swallows this afternoon at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.

The player has been nabbed by the yellow card rule together with Malanti Chiefs Sandile Mnisi, who is also suspended and will miss their game against Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows scheduled for Prince of Wales Sports ground at 1pm. Zwane is one of Moneni Pirates key players, so playing without him will be a big blow for the ‘Sea Robbers’ as they try to move away from the relegation zone.

The suspension is in line with article 6.2 (a) of the MTN Premier League rules and regulations which states clearly that a player who has picked up three yellow cards is automatically suspended from his club’s next league game. PLE’ Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati confirmed the suspension and he urged them to respect the suspension.
