MANZINI – Mbabane Swallows might be 13 points behind long leaders Royal Leopard but Ghanaian coach Christopher Ennin is adamant it is not over yet.

The Swallows of Mbabane still have a game in hand, wherein they face Moneni Pirates in a replayed match set for July 7 at KaLanga Technical Centre at 2:30pm. Ennin, savouring the moment after winning the Mbabane derby 2-1 on Saturday night at Mavuso Sports Centre, said with seven games still to play, anything was possible. “We came here for the three points and we really worked hard for this win. I knew we would bounce back even when we went behind. My players did well and we are not going to give up. We still have a chance,” he said.

Highlanders coach Ernest Mavuso in his first game on his return to the ‘Black Bull’ said his side created enough chances to win the derby after taking the lead Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa’s 16th goal of the campaign in the 51st minute. “We were punished in crucial moments in this game. We created a lot of chances to get something out of the game. It’s a very sad punishment,” he said.  Swallows’ Zimbabwean second half substitute James Nguluve became the derby hero after coming a minute after the hour-mark to score a devastating brace within five minutes when he netted the equaliser in the 66th minute and then grabbed the winner in the 71st minute.
