NHLANGANO - It was a crucial MTN Premier League game.

Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows played to a 1-all draw on Saturday afternoon in Nhlangano in a tension-filled encounter. Responding to the near exchange of blows after the final whistle, both coaches said it was an issue to deal with internally. “I’m going to handle it with my player otherwise the result isn’t a bad one. We had all wanted to win the match,” Swallows’ Chris Ennin said. He said they would keep on working hard as a club.
Young Buffaloes coach, Sabelo Mnisi said he was thankful for the win even though they could have done better. “We missed a lot of chances especially in the second half but half a loaf is better than nothing,” said Mnisi.
He said they were ready to win matches but this was always not going to be an easy match. Buffaloes Sabelo Mnisi thanked his players for the draw, saying they were the better team but missed out on their chances.

Reaction

“I didn’t like the reaction of my players but we’ll handle it internally,” Mnisi responded to the post-match confrontation between players of both sides as well as officials. Defender Siboniso ‘Gaxa’ Ngwenya started it when he unnecessarily stomped on Swallows goalkeeper Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza as he was walking off the pitch. He was given a red card for the incident that will definitely also end in charges for both sides.
