LEOPARD OFFICIALS FACE ARREST

MBABANE – He is not taking things lightly.

Manzini Wanderers assaulted official Lemmy Dube has since opened an assault case against two Royal leopard officials. Dube was allegedly assaulted by the two officials known to this publication on Saturday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium during an MTN Premier League first round grand closing. Dube opened the assault case with the Nhlangano Police Station on Saturday evening after suffering serious injuries on the face and head due to the assault.

Case

He confirmed yesterday that he first went to hospital and then headed to the police station, where he opened an assault case against the two officials. The two officials cannot be named as they have not been officially charged or appeared in court. “Since the assault I have been feeling dizzy and I went back to hospital today (Yesterday) as I had difficulty in chewing. The circumstance forced me to report the matter to the police and I believe they will take the matter up,” he said. Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Phindile Vilakati confirmed that an assault case that happened at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium was opened with the Nhlangano Police Station on Saturday. She said there has been no arrest made so far. Manzini Wanderers denied Royal Leopard the E350 000 MTN Premier League first round incentive with a goalless draw, with Young Buffaloes beating Manzini Sea Birds 2-0 at Prince of Wales Sports Ground to be the winners of the incentive.
