MBABANE – Lawyer Zakhele Dlamini will represent Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows in the protest case against Mbabane Highlanders striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa.

The matter is yet to make it before the Disciplinary Committee (DC) following the Pigg’s Peak based outfit confirming the protest after paying the E3 000 confirmation fee to the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) last Tuesday. Black Swallows protested as they allege that Ndzinisa is a defaulter having been suspended in South Africa where he was playing for Mbombela United, where he was found guilty of being improperly registered.  His suspension saw Mbombela United being relegated to the ABC Motsepe Mpumalanga League after 23 points were docked. Ndzinisa was unveiled by Mbabane Highlanders Chairman Ally Kgomongwe on October 20, 2020 before the start of the season and has also played for the national team, Sihlangu.

Black Swallows were the first team to lodge the protest and Moneni Pirates followed on Saturday as they also protested against the same player. Dlamini for a long time has been Black Swallows’ lawyer as he has represented them in cases or matters which include now Mbabane Swallows striker Allen Mabuza, international player Adiola Kola and Chicco Manyisa among others. Dlamini, who is also the Athletics Eswatini (AE) President and former PLE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) could not be reached for comment as his mobile phone rang unanswered for the better part of the day yesterday. It is reported that Black Swallows has requested for assistance at EFA to secure the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) verdict on the matter. EFA Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe refused to be drawn for comment on the matter last night.
