MBABANE – He is scoring goals for fun.

That is Young Buffaloes sensational striker Phiwa ‘Silwabelwabe’ Dlamini, who has since overtaken Mbabane Highlanders prolific forward Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa in the top scorer’s chart. Phiwa, who netted four goals in the 8-0 mauling of Tinyosi at Prince of Wales Sports Ground on Sunday is leading with 12 goals while Ndzinisa is two goals behind. Sikhali scored his 10th goal on Saturday when they played a 1-all draw against Moneni Pirates at King Sobhuza II memorial Stadium. Ndzinisa who is scoring almost in every game has been leading since the resumption of the league in March.

Dlamini has the chance of further extending his lead when they face Royal Leopard tomorrow in a do-or-die clash for the MTN Premier League E350 000 first round incentive. This is a pending game and he had another chance when playing the last game of the first round against Manzini Sea Birds.

Win

Third on the chart is Royal leopard Muzi ‘Mzoro’ Dlamini, who had found the back of the net eight times. He scored his latest on Sunday during the 2-0 win over Milling Hot Spurs in a match played at Tambankulu Stadium. Other that form part of the chasers for the ‘golden boot’  include Manzini Wanderers Fabrice Mopina, who had been sensational for the maroon and white outfit, scoring the equaliser in the 1-all draw against Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium to take his tally to six goals.
