MBABANE – Professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini will get down to business this morning, when she tees-off at 7:35am in the Dimension Data Ladies Challenge in George Route.

The three rounds tournament is sponsored to the tune of E600 000 and it is the fifth tournament under the Sunshine Ladies Tour. Dlamini will tee-off alongside South African players in Nicole Garcia and Casandra Hall.
All three rounds will be contested on the Outeniqua Course at Fancourt starting this morning until Friday, while the leading 10 pro-am teams will also contest for E100 000 bonus prizes.

Level

Dlamini goes for the Dimension Data Ladies Challenge having with Monique Smit both carded level par rounds to tie for fifth on five-over during the Joburg Ladies Open played at Soweto Country Club that ended last Friday.
According to the sunshineladiestour.com, big-hitting Dlamini is starting to hit the form that saw her rack up victories in the Joburg Ladies Open and Dimension Data Ladies Challenge last season, and brought her close to winning the 2020 Investec Order of Merit title.

Success

The Eswatini golfer enjoyed her maiden Sunshine Ladies Tour success in the 2018 edition at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club. Three years earlier she finished second at the Lost City Golf Course and in 2019, was the runner-up again at the Wild Coast. Dlamini also wore the bridesmaid’s tag in the 2016 Sun International Ladies Challenge at the Gary Player Country Club and she once again showed her affinity for this tournament – and the championship layout – with a solid 70 that featured two dropped shots and four birdies.
