MBABANE – Want away Moneni Pirates player Lizwe Zwane has taken the club to the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Player’s Status Committee.

The former national under-20 player is reported to have already missed the past two matches against Manzini Sea Birds and Tinyosi FC. The player wants to leave Pirates for his parent team, Young Buffaloes. Eswatini Football Association (EFA) has already invited Moneni Pirates to the hearing set for this evening at Sigwaca House. “The EFA hereby invites your team to the hearing of the above mentioned matter between your team and player, Lizwe Zwane. “By copy of this correspondence, the player is informed and invited to the hearing of the matter,” said the letter signed by EFA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frederick Mngomezulu.

Missed

A source close to the matter said Zwane was not happy with the club anymore as he had not been training in the past week and he missed the 3-2 victory over rivals, Manzini Sea Birds last Wednesday at Mavuso Sports Centre and he was not part of the team in the 1-0 win over Tinyosi on Sunday at Prince of Wales Sports Ground. The Players’ Status Committee sets up, monitor and ensure compliance with transfer regulations in accordance with the FIFA regulations for the status and transfer of players and settles any disputes related to the player’s status and transfers.
