SWALLOWS E1M SPRINTER TOURS ESWATINI

MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows family can heave a sigh of relief after Director Bishop Bheki Lukhele unveiled an about E1 million sprinter all over the country.

The 22-seater Mercedenz Benz Sprinter was paraded almost all over the country yesterday as it covered about 300km from Mbabane. Pigg’s Peak, Mhlume to Big Bend, Nhlangano and Manzini, Matsapha yesterday.

After rivals Mbabane Highlanders unveiled their Sprinter they bought through a sealed bid auction from EswatiniBank for about E350 000 that was previously owned by Swallows, the Birds unveiled their new E1 million transport yesterday and they paraded it all over the country.

Tour

The tour started yesterday morning in Mbabane with about six players and moved to Pigg’s Peak where they were met by about 15 supporters and it comprises most of the National Supporters Committee (NSC).

The fans were allowed to take pictures with their new wheels for about 20 minutes at Mhlume and Lonhlupheko, Siteki before it moved to the Shiselweni Region.

The journey continued to Big Bend and Nhlangano where a majority of their fans met them. 

Some of the supporters along the way said they were happy that Bishop Lukhele lived up to their expectations that he would always take care of the team. 

Some of the supporters said they were happy that Bishop Lukhele had been with the team through thick and thin.
