NOBUHLE IN E6M TOURNEYS IN APRIL, MAY

MBABANE – She will be playing for serious money.

That is professional lady golfer Nobuhle Dlamini, who is set for six tournaments under the Sunshine Ladies Tour in April and May. 

The revised scheduled was released on Friday and Dlamini have already entered for the first tournament on the line, the Cape Town Ladies Open sponsors to the tune of E200 000 and it will be played at the Royal Cape Golf Club, South Africa. 

According to the sunshine ladies tour, the Investec South African Women’s Open will once again be co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour and it will be the flagship event in the six tournaments to be played over the two months.

The whole package of the six tournaments is about E6 million.

Sunshine Ladies Tour General Manager, Pauli van Meersbergen, said the flagship event will carry a prize fund of €200 000 (approximately E3.6 million) and Westlake Golf Club will host the event for a fourth consecutive year from May13-16, 2021. 

She said they were excited to announce that, for the first time on the Sunshine Ladies Tour, the tournament will be decided over 72 holes.

“We may be starting later than what was originally planned, but we are delighted to offer our members nearly R6 million in prize money, some exciting incentives and the race to the Investec Order of Merit bonus prize of R100 000,” she said.

The 2021 Investec Order of Merit is based on a points system and the race for glory commences at the Cape Town Ladies Open and wraps up with the Investec South African Women’s Open.
