MBABANE – Eswatini International and TS Galaxy player Felix Badenhorst has brought sense of believe for Eswatini players.

This is after he scored the third goal for the Rockets when they were playing against Maritzburg last Wednesday. This was during the DStv Premiership match at Hara Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg. He scored in the 83rd to inspire the Owen Da Gama-led charges to a 3-0 win. Young Buffaloes midfielder Wandile ‘Skosh’ Shabangu event went to the extent of posting Badenhorst on the socials congratulating the former AS Vita player for the goal. “Honestly I am very happy for him as he is representing us well as emaSwati in South Africa. Personally, I wish him the best of luck as the season continues,” Shabangu said.

Dream

He also highlighted it was every local player’s dream to play in the money spinning DStv Premiership. Also singing praises for Badenhorst was former teammate at AS Vita, Mthunzi ‘Xavi’ Mkhontfo. “I am happy for him, finally he scored which is not only good for him, but emaSwati too. The goal will help him gain confidence and the coach will consider putting him on the starting 11,” Mkhontfo said. Badenhorst’s team will play Orlando Pirates tomorrow in a league match to be played at Orlando Stadium. Kickoff is 5pm. Another local player who is playing his side in the DStv Premiership is Justice Figaureido. However, after the 12 matches that have been played, he has not featured in a single match. This is because he is currently recovering from an ankle injury, which he sustained during preseason. TS Galaxy are currently perched on position 12 with 11 points.
