MBABANE – Tambankulu Callies boss Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba has signed a partnership and kit sponsorship deal with South Africa’s TS Galaxy.

The partnership deal means that Callies and TS Galaxy will exchange programmes and have Callies players assessed by the South Africa’s Premiership  side which will open transfer opportunities.

This mutual agreement was signed yesterday by Mamba and TS Galaxy Chairman Tim Sukazi.

The team’s name was derived from Sukazi’s initials and is based in Kameetrivier near Siyabuswa in the Mpumalanga Province.  Coincidentally, TS Galaxy recently signed a E1.8 million deal with former Mbombela United player Felix Badenhorst who will be earning E70 000 monthly and E150 000 signing on fee.

Mamba disclosed that Sukazi would be coming to the country next week to officially unveil the Macron kit that would be used by Callies. The kit includes home and away kits for players and goalkeepers, training kit for the technical team and players, off the field attire or tracksuits as well as match balls and bags for the entire team.

Commenting on the matter, Mamba said the official sponsorship value would be disclosed during the official unveiling ceremony scheduled for later this week. He, however, said the partnership would help develop his team and the players.

“Tambankulu Callies has signed a three-year partnership deal with TS Galaxy. This is a beginning of a new era for us and a first-of-its-kind for Eswatini. I would like to thank Sukazi for giving us this chance to work with him for the benefit of our teams,” said Mamba.

He further disclosed that the first two players who would be travelling to TS Galaxy in the next two weeks to be assessed by the technical team were goalkeeper Nxanawe Ndlandla and central defender Sebenele Magagula. Ndlandla welcomed this arrangement with excitement, viewing this as an opportunity to fulfil his dreams.

“I am very happy about this partnership with TS Galaxy and I believe that the exposure will help me fulfil my dream of playing for big clubs outside the country,” said Ndlandla.
