MBABANE – Three ABSA Premiership teams are after the services of Moneni Pirates whiz kid Nhlanhla ‘Jive’ Nkosi.
The teams are Cape Town City, Baroka and Chippa United.

This is the same player who received an invite a few months back to train with a Ukrainian team. The invite had to be put on hold due to the spread of COVID-19.

According to highly-placed sources at the ‘Sea Robbers’, the player is already preparing to go for his trial with Cape Town City this weekend.
“He is currently preparing his paperwork as he is supposed to leave for Cape Town on Sunday for trials with Cape Town City,” said a source.

Expected

The source said he was not sure when the player was expected to go for trial at Baroka and Chippa United but could only confirm that the youngster had to leave for Cape Town on Sunday.
“He is one player who is hot property internationally, you must also remember that he still has a pending trial invite in Ukraine,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Moneni Pirates Team Manager Mlungisi ‘Puma’ Simelane said as the Management Committee (MC), nothing official had been reported to them as yet.

Finalised

“To us, nothing official has been finalised or reported, however, if the South African deals materialise, it will be something very good for both the team and the player,” said Simelane.

He further highlighted that if the player would be leaving the team, it was best that he came to the team management so that they blessed the deal. The player could not be immediately drawn for comment as his mobile phone was not available on the network at the time of compiling this report last night.

Cape Town City finished the ABSA Premier League on sixth position with Chippa United on 11th place and Baroka finished on 14th.
