MBABANE – Young and talented Vovovo FC midfielder, Leon Manyisa is currently the most sought after with all the elite big three after his signature.
He just had his loan agreement with Manzini Wanderers come to an end but the hub giants want to retain him for next season.

There is competition though. It is not from just ordinary rivals but giants Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows.
What these clubs ought to know is that his signature could be E50 000.
“He put as one of his terms to join us a signing-on fee of E50 000.
“That’s one of the reasons he was then invited into a meeting with Benson Dlamini after the club’s director sanctioned him to negotiate further,” an impeccable source claimed.

Remuneration

Furthermore, the source said Manyisa also wanted to be paid a monthly remuneration in the amount of E10 000.
However, upon consulting with the director, Chief Ally Kgomongwe in South Africa, Highlanders want to pay E30 000 for the former Armenia’s FC Van star to put pen to paper while they negotiate the salary package, which is expected to be no less than E8 500.

“Things are looking okay as we also have established a good working relationship with Vovovo who we have an agreement with involving Manyisa and a striker, Melusi ‘Slender’ Dlamini, who we gave to them for free and permanently,” the source claimed.
It is understood that at the end of the season, the two clubs agreed to negotiate Manyisa’s transfer before he made any other move and Highlanders are adamant he will sign.

“That’s what I know as well,” responded Dlamini when questioned on the said agreement.
The black and white capital city giants’ boss, Kgomongwe, also affirmed the agreement, adding that he personally was also talking to Manyisa, who he understood to be good friends with Highlanders’ young midfielder Lindani ‘Rio’ Matsenjwa.

“He is going to be joining us. We already have a good relationship with his team,” he said.
Kgomongwe was quick to say that ‘should he decide to go elsewhere’ they would have no trouble with it but he was currently one they were looking to bring on board.

Response

On his signing-on fee and salary terms, the response from Kgomongwe was that ‘his team still has to be paid something according to our agreement’ so they can offer a reduced signing-on fee and give him the salary he wants.
He did not deny the earlier mentioned figures as their counter offer for which the signing-on fee equals that reportedly offered by Swallows while the salary beats the E7 500 by the latter.

Manyisa, when reached, simply responded ‘no comment’.
His club, Vovovo Chairman Sipho ‘Tsetla’ Bhembe has insisted the player was yet to inform him of his choice of suitors.
