ENZO WARNS ON COVID-19
MBABANE – Local players are taking the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic seriously.
The latest to take to social media is Denver Sundowns captain Enzo Motsa, who posted a video clip on the team’s Facebook page relaying the message of keeping safe and adhering to government safety measures during these trying times.
In his 35-second video clip, Enzo first introduces himself and then passes a message of gratitude to the heroes who have sacrificed or put their lives at risk in order to assist those who are infected by the coronavirus.
“I would like to say thank you to the people out there who have put their lives at risk to fight against the spread of coronavirus in the Kingdom of Eswatini. You guys are our heroes and we are very proud of you and your efforts,” he said.
The skipper also encouraged the nation at large to follow all the precaution measures put in place against the spread of the pandemic. “Wash your hands regularly with soap and running water, make sure you use hand sanitisers and most importantly, stay home and save lives,” he said.
Sundowns Public Relations Officer (PRO) Thabiso Manyatsi confirmed knowledge of the captain’s video clip on the team’s Facebook page.
