ZITHANDE COACH’S HOME TRAININGS TIPS
MBABANE - Zithande Athletics Club coach Nsizwa Thwala has advised that during the extended partial lockdown, people should not abandon their training.
He tells the Sports Desk on how they can keep fit during the era of COVID-19.
“Here are most effective exercises which can be done in doors. These are push-ups, squats, jumps and lunges to mention a few,” said Thwala.
“These exercises are good for body group muscles, they are ideal for toning and firming, muscular base and fat loss,” he added.
He went on to explain that the challenge for people not to train during this lockdown is because of procrastination.
“The challenge with many people is that they don’t have the courage to start exercising and those who start want quick-fix solutions or shortcuts, which then compromise their health,” said the fitness coach.
“Don’t compromise your health on your way to fitness. It’s not about peer pressure, body goals or wanting a summer body but it must be all about lifestyle. Lifestyle knows no break so people must stay at home, stay healthy and fit,” he advised.
He also highlighted that one was better off with a strong immune system in this coronavirus era and they can achieve that by training and eating healthily.
