SBS TENNIS JUNIORS TOURNEY SUNDAY

MBABANE – The Swaziland Building Society (SBS) tennis juniors’ tournament is scheduled for this coming weekend Sunday.

This will be the continuation of the two-day tournament, which started about a fortnight ago but was stalled due to bad weather on the second day.

The Eswatini National Tennis Association (ENTA) had to postpone the last day of the event indefinitely and the date of the second day has been confirmed.

The association’s secretary general said Sunday, March 15 would be reserved for the semi-finals and finals of the juniors’ tournament.

Last weekend, the games could not continue as the association had another international event for some of their juniors.
Meanwhile, the first day saw a good turnout of over 50 juniors who came to take part and the numbers were confirmed by tournament coordinator and ENTA’s Bongani Kunene.

He said they witnessed a lot of talent especially from the upcoming players, the Under-12s to be precise.
