MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders Director Ally Kgomongwe has put his house in order.

This is after he made changes to his Management Committee (MC) yesterday following continuous meetings from Sunday after they beat Tambankulu Callies 2-0 to reach the final of the Ingwenyama Cup.

Implacable sources within the ‘Black Bull’ have confided that the director was planning to let go of General Manager Josiah ‘Digger’ Dlamini and Head of Marketing and Communications Bhekisisa Dlamini among others.

The pressing issue was to appoint the team’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) which sources alleged was likely to be given to Mpumelelo Mnisi.
“There was a long meeting last night (Sunday) at Royal Swazi Spa where the director expressed his unhappiness about some of the officials. He also did not take kindly the registration of Nigerian players over Ghanaians. He left the stadium without wanting to speak to anyone but a few individuals before calling them to the meeting,” alleged a source.

The meeting was still in progress when this report was compiled and Bhekisisa confirmed the reshuffle and that he could not attend as he had work commitments.

“It is true that the reshuffle is happening, unfortunately I could not attend as I am far with work commitments but they will inform me once the meeting was over and everything was finalised. I do not know, maybe I will be fired too,” he said jokingly.
Mnisi was also drawn for comment and said he was in Johannesburg, South Africa and he was not aware of any new developments.
Patron Benson Dlamini and PRO Paul ‘Magidza’ Masilela did not pick when called for comments several times.

“The decision was taken to axe the MC today with Benson having his recommendations and him his list of names,” alleged a source.
The sources claimed that the registration of the two Nigerian players was a matter of controversy which also prompted the changes as the director felt disrespected.

When called for comment, the director’s mobile phone was off and he did not reply a WhatsApp message sent to him by the time of going to print.
