MBABANE – MTN Premier League first round ‘carrot’ contenders Young Buffaloes and Mbabane Swallows will again be in action on a Saturday.

Leaders Buffaloes, who are only ahead of Mbabane Swallows on superior goal difference, will host struggling Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. This is the same venue where they lost 0-1 to Green Mamba last Saturday.


Police side, Royal Leopard who are still licking their wounds after a 1-2 defeat to Mbabane Swallows on Saturday at Mavuso Sports Centre will be in action against rivals Green Mamba in the armed forces derby at Mhlume Stadium. Kick-off time is 3:30pm.
The fixtures were released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati yesterday.


There is only one match to be played on Sunday and it is between Tambuti and Mbabane Highlanders. It will be played Mayaluka Stadium in Big Bend, starting at 3pm.

Moneni Pirates who are mathematically still contesting for the first round prize will play its game against Manzini Sea Birds next Tuesday at Mavuso Sports Centre at 6:30pm.

This coming weekend will mark the penultimate round in the first round. The winner of the first round carrot will walk away with E350 000.
