KNICKS CONSOLIDATE TOP SPOT

MBABANE – MTN Men’s Promotional League log leaders, Mbabane Knicks, are unstoppable.

 This weekend not even Manzini Raiders could stop them. They hammered Raiders 104-63 to record their 13th win. They have gone 13 games unbeaten in the Men’s Promotional League. Noteworthy is that Knicks were relegated last season. If their current performance is anything to go by, there is no prize for guessing who will be promoted to the Men’s Elite League next season.

They are currently leading by 26 points while RSSC Tridents are second with 21. The latter managed to beat Luyengo Pacers 61-41 to maintain their good run.
Pacers are currently fourth with 20 points.

In another interesting clash, Scavengers recorded their third win in 11 games. They beat Elangeni Wolves 72-32 to accumulate 14 points.
In the National Women’s League, Lynx Basketball continued with their flawless run after they beat Imiqhele Ye Mvasi 54-26 to consolidate the top spot with 21 points.
