HOY SWIMMING GALA NEXT MONTH

MBABANE – Swimmers have only three weeks to prepare for the annual Hoy Gala competition billed for November 16.
This will be the third gala since the new season began last month. The competitions will be held at the Enjabulweni School, Manzini, starting at 9am while warm up time is at 8:15am and all swimmers are expected to have cleared the ball 10 minute before the starting time.

Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA) Secretary Lee Ann Young said the competition was sponsored by Mr and Mrs Hoy.
“Entry fee is E50 per swimmer and it is to be paid before 8:50am on the day of the gala. A swimmer may not swim if their entry fee has not been paid.

The entries deadline is on November 6 and there will be no late entries accepted and swimmers will only be allowed to enter events after they have registered for the season. All Clubs and Coaches must have registered, submitted forms and payments for the 2019/2020 season to enter swimmers for this gala,” she said.

Deadline

Young said the deadline for new registrations (with original forms) for this gala, for swimmers, clubs, coaches and respective payment must be received no later than Wednesday, October 30 at 5pm.

“All entries to be submitted either via email (lindasn.hoy@gmail.com or swim.snsa@gmail.com) or original hard copy to Linda Hoy, a clear picture of entries may also be submitted via WhatsApp to +268 7607 7026. Swimmers may only swim in correct age groups. The swimmers may only accrue points in their own age groups. Only recognised registered coaches and teachers may enter and withdraw a swimmer,” she added.
