SEA BIRDS PLAYER DISCHARGED

EZULWINI – Manzini Sea Birds player Sinethemba Dlamini has been discharged from the Medisun Clinic, Ezulwini.

This is after the player spent four days the. This comes after breaking his leg following a crude tackle by Manzini Wanderers defender Sanele Mkhweli on Sunday during the MTN Premier League Y’ello Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium. Sea birds won 1-0. Sea Birds General Manager London Dlamini confirmed that the player was been discharged at the clinic yesterday where Manzini Wanderers officials and friends, family members had come to pay a courtesy visit to him at the clinic.

“Today he is going home and we want to thank you for your prayers and support. We are aware that it was not Mkhweli’s intention to cause the injury. We therefore want to thank all football loving people who came to pay a courtesy visit and we do hope they will keep checking him even at his home,” Dlamini said. Meanwhile, Sinethemba’s mother, Dudu Kunene said they were overwhelmed by the support from not only Wanderers people, but the football fraternity in general. “It was tough and at one moment, the injury made me loath my childhood team, Wanderers. I was touched and forgave the Wanderers people and Mkhweli after they came to pay a courtesy visit. It dawned on me that indeed, it was not Mkhweli’s intention to injure him and so I am at peace now,” Sinethemba’s mother said. Meanwhile, Manzini Wanderers PRO Sandile ‘Ntofo’ Dlamini noted that the courtesy visit by a number of Wanderers people signified how united they were.

“We are one big family at Wanderers and Manzini Sea Birds are our neighbour team. We cannot therefore be seen to be fighting with them. We are one big family with Sea Birds and they are like our brothers. We do hope our brother Sinethemba will get well soon,” the Wanderers PRO said. He then urged with Wanderers people and the football fraternity to unite and support one another. He also encouraged supporters to  pay a courtesy visit to Sinethemba to make him feel better.
