MBABANE – Four goals in the same number of games have steered Mbabane Swallows skipper Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze to the summit of the MTN Premier League scorers’ chart.

The left-footed former Sihlangu winger is joint top on the scorers’ list with Mhlume Peacemakers’ Sidumo Dlamini. Tsabedze has scored in all the four matches including Sunday’s 2-1 win over Peacemakers at Somhlolo National Stadium.  The race for the ‘Golden Boot’ award is heating up and the leading players are forced to look over their shoulders by Mbabane Highlanders youngster Siboniso ‘Mane’ Lukhele and veteran forward Simanga Shongwe of Swallows, who are both on three goals.

The likes of Darren ‘Dazza’ Christie (Manzini Sea Birds), Junior Magagula (Royal Leopard) and Lizwe Zwane (Moneni Pirates) are among players who are still in the picture with two goals. Topping the charts after 13 games (end of first round) will earn a player E8 000. A player who will top both in the first and second round will become E18 000 richer. The prize money for the top goalscorer at the end of the season is E10 000.
