SIHLANGU FANS WARY OF ANGOLA

MBABANE – Eswatini Football Supporters Club ‘will be with Sihlangu in spirit’ in Angola.

The Supporters Club has wished the national team, Sihlangu Semnikati, great play and progression to the next level in the African Nations Championships (CHAN) 2020 Qualifiers.

Sihlangu are leaving the kingdom today en route to Luanda, Angola, for a decisive away game billed Saturday.
This following last Sunday’s 1-1 draw in a game that was played in Manzini at Mavuso Sports Ground.
On the day, the Angolan visitors took charge of the game through Augusto Dominiquez and it was Menzi Sithole who rescued the Kostadin Papic-led squad with an equaliser only before the final whistle.

Secretary Knowledge Ngwenya urged the nation to pray for Sihangu and wished them the best of luck.

“As the Executive committee, we take this opportunity to wish our pride, Sihlangu, the best in Angola and urge the nation to pray for them as well,” said Ngwenya.

Ngwenya however acknowledged that Angola had an upper hand as they were fresh from competing in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) but confidently believed that Sihlangu would not disappoint the nation and beat Angola in their own backyard.
