MBABANE – When a door shuts, another one opens. That is the story for goalkeeper Banale Dlamini, who was put on transfer by Manzini Wanderers but he has made his way to South Africa’s ABC Motsepe Mpumalanga League where he signed a one-year contract with Mbombela City Lads.

A source close to the matter confirmed that Dlamini will be playing in the ABC Motsepe League in SA after being put on transfer by the maroon and white outfit at the end of the season.

reserving

Dlamini spent half of last season on the bench reserving for Romenas Igidimba from Cameroon.
Wanderers have already replaced him by signing former Mbabane Citizens and Highlanders goalkeeper Sandile ‘Onyango’ Dlamini, who was part of the nine players unveiled on Tuesday by Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati. Dlamini has added the numbers this season for players who have joined South African teams including the duo of former Mbabane Swallows Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa and Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu, who joined Mbombela United.

“They were impressed by his performance when he did some training and he signed a one year contract that is renewable.
‘‘He is a good goalkeeper that will assist the team get promotion to the National First Division,” said the source. Dlamini only confirmed that he was with the team current but he declined to get into details.
