Another highlight of the day was South Africa-born athlete Bulelani Jola, who stole the show during his stage performance. Jola had been invited as a guest poser and a judge on the day. Barbosa also extended his appreciation to the judges in Nathi Tembe, Banele Simelane, bikini model Lindsay Martin, Zelda and Slim Shaddy for a job well done.

“I would like to thank all the athletes, sponsors, local gyms such as Swazi Fit and Fitness Zone, plus members of the public who came in numbers to support the show on Saturday. From all previous Barbosa Classic shows, I must say that this one was the biggest and the best ever. For me, everyone was a winner because of their courage and enthusiasm. Eswatini athletes are really pushing and very soon we will be ranked among the best in the world,” said Barbosa.
