MBABANE – Tennis juniors must dust off their rackets. The Eswatini National Tennis Association (ENTA) will on Saturday host the second edition of the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) tennis juniors’ tournament for the new season.

ENTA Secretary Nqaba Mkhaliphi said the games to be played at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA) Tennis courts will feature four categories for both sexes.

There will be the under 10s, 12s, 14s and 18s categories.
Starting time is 8:30am and the secretary urged juniors to keep time so as to wrap up early as it is the winter season and it gets dark early.
“We will give prizes from the E140 000 sponsorship of the new season. Winners will be awarded with trophies and medals,” he said.

Mkhaliphi added that they urged the juniors to register early, preferably by Friday with their coaches so that they conduct the draw a day before the tournament.

“It will make life easier if the draw is conducted on Friday evening so that on Saturday morning we have no delays but the games just kick off at normal time,” he said.

The secretary said they would conduct a chart on the day before the games for a fixture of the games and urged coaches to assist in this regard and get all the participating players’ names by Friday afternoon.
He invited the juniors’ parents to support their children during the games.
