MBABANE – Who will take home the MTN Premier League title for the 2018/19 season? This is a question that will be answered only this afternoon, at least by 6pm the nation will have the new champions.

Will it be leaders Green Mamba or Royal Leopard can still snatch it as these two security forces sides are level on 55 points going into the final games of the season?
At the moment, all odds point to Green Mamba as the favourites to win it. A lot is likely to play itself out in these deciding games – football politics cannot be ruled out as witnessed in previous seasons.

If it happens that the talk by some fans about the past coming back to haunt one of the competitors, then this title is as good as gone.

Nonetheless, we can only hope for fair and clean football on the day, one that will leave emaSwati proud of the season as it ends. We want to see fair play in the games and clean competition so the real champions are crowned at the end of the day.
