‘BULL’ OBSTACLE FOR INGWE

Four remaining games is a lot for any of the top five teams to still win the league but of the five competing clubs, only the top three have more realistic chances and they include police side, leaders Royal Leopard; call them ‘Ingwe Emabalabala’ if you like.

The police side have the toughest remaining games, then its forces’ rivals Green Mamba and Young Buffaloes, on second and third, respectively. Their rivals tomorrow are fifth and seven points adrift them but if they can stun Leopard and get the maximum points, they will cut the gap to within four points and then hope Green Mamba and Buffaloes also drop points.

This is what makes this one clash all-important as it takes Highlanders out of the race completely and has the potential of seeing Leopard off the summit.

This is a must-win for both sides and given what both teams’ PROs said on national radio EBIS Sport Show on Monday morning, it is a game not for the faint-hearted.
Highlanders are hopeful that since winning it seems a mammoth task now, at least the second spot was more justified to fight for. Leopard cannot afford to lose as they are only two and four points adrift Green Mamba and Buffaloes. The first leg result was 1-all with Leopard coming from behind to earn a point.
