MBABANE – “We are heading for three finals before we conclude our season.” These were words from Royal Leopard midfielder Sifiso ‘Sushi’ Nkambule after their 2-0 win over Mbabane Swallows on Sunday during the MTN Premier League game played at Somhlolo National Stadium.

Nkambule was named the man of the match after his sterling performance. Leopard will play Young Buffaloes in the EswatiniBank Cup finals on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium, while they also remain with two games in the MTN Premier League, against rivals Young Buffaloes and Matsapha United.
Nkambule said for them to win both titles, they would have to win all the three remaining games.

“All our remaining matches including those in the MTN Premier League are like Cup finals. There is a lot at stake and we are doing all our best to win matches. We are playing as a team because we know that we can make it if we stick together and work together. Young Buffaloes is not an easy side same with Matsapha United,” he said.
Nkambule said they wanted to win at all costs against Mbabane Swallows. He said losing against Swallows could have jeopardised their chances of winning the league.

Meanwhile, Manzini Wanderers Mpendulo Ngidi, who was also named the man of the match after the 1-all draw against Vovovo said the team will not be relegated end of the season. He said they were working hard to come out with positive results.
“We are not thinking out relegations but we want to get good results in our remaining matches. We were unfortunate to concede the late goal against Vovovo,” he said.
Manzini Wanderers, who are third from the bottom, are still to play Mbabane Highlanders and visit Matsapha United in their last clash of the season.
