MBABANE – Hhohho regional football Under-17 received yet another E28 000 sponsorship from Hub Essential Hardware.

The sponsorship launch was held at Sigwaca House yesterday and accepting the replica cheque from the sponsor’s representative, Khumbuzile Dlamini, was Eswatini Football Association Chief Executive Officer Frederick Mngomezulu, Director of Sports Lucky Sihlongonyane and Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) Chairman Nigel Shongwe. During her submissions, Dlamini commended the HRFA for the good organisation, coordination and accountability which inspired the third edition of the Under-17 sponsorship.

interest

She mentioned that their company was interested in partnering with the association mostly because of the sentimental value that they had for the junior players. The first sponsorship was valued at E15 000 and the second and third at E28 000.
“We have seen the dedication of the young players during the past two years of our partnership and we have decided to prolong their engagement from a one day tournament to a league.

fruitful

The sponsorship will go into the prizes and we are looking forward to yet another fruitful season,” said Dlamini.
Making his remarks on behalf of the Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Harris ‘Madze’ Bulunga, the Director of Sports Lucky Sihlongonyane saluted Hub Hardware for the continued partnership with the HRFA.

He further lauded the association for the vigorous approach in scouting for sponsors as well as keeping them. He congratulated them for being an inspiration and pioneers to other associations with this regard.

pride

“We note with pride the growing number of companies who are investing in juniors’ football and other sports at large. The efforts of Hub Hardware and all the other organisations are indeed clear signs of national coherence towards His Majesty’s vision of being counted among the first world countries by 2022,” said Sihlongonyane.
He added that the junior leagues and tournaments were the perfect platform for nurturing future football stars.
