BUFFS MOURN ZANELE’S DEMISE
MBABANE – Young Buffaloes are reeling in shock following the demise of their marketing officer Zanele Magagula.
Magagula passed away on Friday due to an undisclosed illness. This was confirmed by Buffaloes acting CEO Thando ‘Vaa’ Nxumalo yesterday.
“We are still dumbstricken by the sad news. She has been with the team for a long time and she worked diligently.
She was one person which we could count on anytime we needed her. We wish to send our condolences to the Magagula and Buffaloes families,” Nxumalo said. When asked about funeral details, he said it was too early as they were still mourning her demise.
“Like I said we are still trying to come to terms with the saddening news. We will have funeral details as the week progresses,” he said.
A moment of silence was observed before the start of double header games at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday where over 1000 fans were in attendance. Royal Leopard managed to beat Moneni Pirates 2-1 while the army side cruised to a 3-0 victory at the expense of Manzini Wanderers.
