NO INGWENYAMA CUP TICKETS SOLD YET

MBABANE – Seemingly, football lovers have not grown accustomed to buying tickets in advance as is the norm in other professional leagues.

This, after 19 days have elapsed since the tickets went on sale. There are no tickets that have been sold for the upcoming Ingwenyema Cup Last 16 games. The games are slated for this weekend. Premier League of Eswatini CEO Simanga Nhleko said he was worried that no tickets had been sold as they went on sale on December 13. “Tickets have been on sale since December 13 but none have been sold. I think football people are still enjoying their holidays. I think they will start buying them a day before the games,” Nhleko said.

“We do encourage them to buy them early because it helps them to be organised and avoid last minute long queuing,” he added. He said games at Nhlangano will cost E30.This will be a game between Rangers FC and Mbabane Swallows, who play on Saturday at King Sobhuza Stadium and kick-off time is 3:30pm. The double header, which is on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium, will cost E30.The National soccer Mecca will host a clash between Mbabane Citizens against Tinyosi and Manzini Sundowns who take on Ubombo Flyers.

The most expensive fixtures are those played in Big Bend and Mhlume. It will cost E40 to watch the double header pitting Tambuti against Young Buffaloes and Leopard versus Manzini Wanderers at Mayaluka Stadium. Nsukuwansuku Stadium will host games between Matsapha United against Moneni Pirates and Mbabane Highlanders versus Vovovo.
