MBABANE – A ‘familiar ghost’ will haunt Mbabane Swallows in Saturday’s Ingwenyama Cup Last 16.

Swallows face National First Division League side Rangers, who are under the tutelage of Thokozani Ndzinisa.
Most Swallows loyalists remember the latter without their memories being jogged. He orchestrated the capital city giants’ downfall while in charge of former Shiselweni Super League outfit styled Amagagasi back in 2010.
Amagagasi eliminated Swallows in the last 32 of the SwaziBank Cup in 2010 before claiming the scalp of Moneni Pirates in the next round.

Ndzinisa, who is a self-confessed Swallows fan, said he was looking forward to the fixture, saying he had a surprise in store for the red and white ensemble.

“Being a Swallows fan is no issue because I know where my bread is buttered,” he said.
This coming Saturday’s game will be played at the King Sobhuza Stadium in Nhlangano, the same venue where Amagagasi caused an upset. The only difference now is the terrain.
Back in 2010, the ground was dusty, as there was no artificial turf.

Swallows coach Musa Manyatsi said they were aware of the coach’s history, but it would not send shivers down their spines.
“It’s a completely new challenge.

“We have done our homework, so we’ll go out for a win,” he said.
The game will be played at 3:30pm.
