PARKRUNNERS IN CHRISTMAS FEVER

MBABANE – With just two days before Christmas, parkrunners shared their stories on what December 25 meant after partaking in the Mbabane Parkrun. 

There were 67 runners who participated in the weekly 5km run which was staged at Mbabane Club. It was the last event before the ‘big day’ and some of the runners came clad in red and white in the spirit of Christmas.
The runners were first taken through warm-up drills by one of the parkrun organisers, Frankie Williams. Interestingly, there were Christmas songs which were played during the warm-up sessions.

The participants had come with their children.One Bongani Manana came with his daughter and son and South Africa-based runner Mthunzi also ran along with his children.
