MBABANE – It will be the best of the best tomorrow in the MBAC/Mbabane Express Car Wash Open Pool Teams Tournament.

The country’s giant clubs made it through to the Last 8 of the inaugural Mbabane Alliance Church and the car wash tournament. Not only did they give through but went on to draw each other.

Dixie’s International/Manzini Regional Pool Association League champions, Way Inn will clash with their rivals from Matsapha, Figaredo.
There will be a forces’ derby between Police Academy and Correctional Services, while Manzini will clash with Mbabane (MPC) and Malkerns-based Nicks take on Bel-Air.

Games

Games will begin at noon at the car wash by Pick n Pay. Champions take home E3 000 as well as a trophy and gold medals.
The Last 16 was played last Saturday at the same venue. Some of the stars to be in action on the day include Flag Nxumalo (Correctional), Jairus Mhlanga (Way Inn), Sibusiso Nhlabatsi (Police Academy), Vusi Masilela (Manzini Pool Club) and Sikhatsi Dlamini (Bel-Air) among others.

Police Academy’s Norman Khoza declared that they were all out to win this one after missing out on a few tournaments. “We know and understand the tables now as we’d already played a friendly against a pick team from the car wash league. It’s not going to be easy as all the remaining clubs are very competitive and most have won knockouts before,” he said.

Such clubs are Way Inn, MPC and Correctional.
