DAR ES SALAAM – In spite of Tanzania’s Simba Sports Club commanding a 4-1 lead from the first leg here on Wednesday, Mbabane Swallows captain Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze earnestly believes they can turn the tables at home.

The ‘Beautiful Birds’ cross swords with the Tanzanian side in a second leg CAF Champions League preliminary round clash at Mavuso Sports Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
“We seriously gave some of the goals away and you can’t do that at this level. I seriously believe Simba are not much of a good side; we just made a lot of errors and paid the price,” Tsabedze said.

He said they were as equally capable of beating the Patrick Aussem-coached side in the second leg.
“We have done it before against even better sides than Simba and I believe we are capable of overturning the deficit and advance to the next stage,” he said.
Quizzed how they are planning on achieving this mammoth task akin to swimming across Lake Tangayika and Lake Victoria combined, Tsabedze said they knew what to expect from Simba and they would be much more ready for them on Tuesday.

“We will go to the drawing board and work on our individual mistakes. We now know what to expect and we can beat them at home,” the most decorated Mbabane Swallows skipper in the club’s 80-year-chequered history noted.
The decider will be played at 3pm.
