MBABANE – Nothing, and nothing but winning the league is Mbabane Highlanders’ target.

Saul Chaminuka, the head coach of the ‘Black Bull’, is adamant that they will be crowned champions of the 2018/19 MTN League season.
In a pre-match briefing yesterday at Sigwaca House, Chaminuka told the media that they will at all cost fight for a win against Manzini Sea Birds on Sunday at Somhlolo National Stadium.

He said a win tomorrow would elevate them in the log standings but said it would just be a step to the summit, the major priority.
“We have had our lessons in previous games and we are well prepared for this one.

We will take the game to them and the players know that they will have to deliver as we have not been forthcoming. We need nothing less than a win Sunday (tomorrow) and we will press them,” said the coach.

The team captain, Xolani ‘Chocco’ Sibandze, said the spirit was high at the team.
“We are mentally prepared. We need this game more than the opposition after a disappointing display against Mbabane Citizens where we let the supporters down,” he said.

The skipper said they would make it up to their supporters after the let-down against Citizens.
Sea Birds coach, Sibusiso Mngometulu, said they exclusively prepared for each game depending on what they targeted to benefit from that particular game.
“We are ever ready, we just needed to fix our transitional play to conform to the standard of the elite league,” said the coach.
Mngometulu said the team was injury-free and ready for the game.
