MBABANE - Death is a thief that leaves the living in despair. Mbabane Swallows and Sihlangu prolific left winger Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze has lost his father after battling with a long illness.

The former Supersports United star will miss tomorrow’s clash against Malanti Chiefs following the sad news. Zuluway Tsabedze passed away on Tuesday morning. ‘TT’s father, who used to play for Mhlambanyatsi Rovers during his heydays, will be laid to rest on Sunday after a vigil on Saturday.
This was revealed by the Mbabane Swallows PRO Jackson Dlamini yesterday.

“We are still shocked by the demise of Tony’s father. We want to send our condolences on behalf of the Mbabane Swallows family. May the Lord comfort the Tsabedze family during this sad period. It’s not Tony’s loss and his family but the nation at large as he was a footballer during his heydays. We are pleading with Swallows fans to come to pay their last respects,” Jackson said.

The PRO confirmed that the player would be excused from the Malanti game which will be played tomorrow at Somhlolo National Stadium at 7pm.
Swallows will then leave on Monday for their CAF Champions League clash with Tanzanian side Simba Sporting Club. The game will be played on Wednesday at the National Stadium.
When asked if ‘TT’ would go with the travelling squad to Tanzania, the PRO said he could only comment further after the funeral on Sunday.
