‘FRAIL’ MATSAPHA HUNT ‘BIRDS’

Mbabane – Will Mbabane Swallows be shooting fish in a barrel? After a setback in the midweek 1-all draw with minnows Manzini Sea Birds, the capital city giants have been provided with an opportunity to bounce back at the expense of listless Matsapha United.

The latter, who rely on experienced but average players like defenders Sihawu Dlamini and Mancoba Zwane, as well as midfielders Muzomuhle Dlamini and Clement Sibandze, look lost like a star in day, as they endure a terrible run since their restructuring at the beginning of the campaign.

They have to ‘race a cheater’ in chase of their second win of the campaign. Swallows, who boast the experience of the quartet of Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze, Kola Aladeon, Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko and Xolani ‘Papi’ Sikhondze, may be blowing hot and cold, but they are confident of inflicting more misery on ‘Bogandaganda’ in a bid to return to winning ways.

They may have failed to beat the ‘old’ Matsapha United in three attempts, but today they are likely to soar higher to keep leaders Green Mamba in sight.
Anything less than a win will derail Swallows in their chase for the E350 000 first round incentive, if Green Mamba prevail at Malanti Chiefs.
